Energy Optimization for HVAC Systems in Minneapolis

Energy Efficient Equipment And Innovative Energy Solutions

Yale Mechanical provides a comprehensive Energy Sustainability Services Program (ESS) designed to reduce the utility consumption and maximize efficiencies of the technical systems at your facility. Pairing the latest in energy technologies with experienced, in-house engineers, we maximize the efficiency of your current operations and develop a long-term energy sustainability plan.

The objective of the ESS Program is to maximize the value of your real estate asset by reducing both energy costs and consumption. The program is a seamless integration with maintenance programs, giving clients a streamlined and cost-effective approach for energy savings. LEED certified buildings typically cost 9% less to operate, enjoy 7.5% greater valuation, have higher occupancy rates and charge more for rent.

As part of the program, an assigned Certified Energy Manager works closely with your management team to complete the following three steps:

Energy Sustainability Services 3-Step Program

  • Energy optimization utility analysis

    Step 1. Utility Analysis

The first step in our program is to identify and understand the existing design, operations and maintenance parameters of your property. We employ Certified Energy Managers®, Professional Engineers, LEED® Accredited Professionals™, degreed and fully licensed associates who work with clients to identify cost effective energy efficiency opportunities.  This comprehensive utility analysis creates a baseline to benchmark your current energy consumption.

  • Energy optimization no low cost opt

Step 2. No Cost/Low Cost Optimization

Using detailed information from the utility audit, we identify no-cost/low-cost savings opportunities to maximize the efficiency of existing technical systems. These operational and maintenance recommendations ensure systems are operating at peak conditions without requiring capital investment.

  • Energy optimization capital improvements

    Step 3. Capital Improvements

Only after your systems are operating at their peak efficiencies will Yale provide capital recommendations or options to further reduce utility expenses. These options include a true financial return on investment model, allowing you to prioritize and make the most informed business decision for your facility. This information is reviewed with your management team to identify cost variances and potential savings opportunities.

The program includes ongoing measurement and verification of energy savings to show progress over time and provide full accountability for the ESS program.  We provide monthly on-line management reports to monitor and track utility cost and consumption

Applications of advanced technologies have proven to produce as much as 50% savings with a return on investment of as little as 2-3 years.
